Back That Pass Up came out from the very beginning shooting strong, getting out to a healthy lead by half time. The Odd Bunch kept the pressure on and slowed those goals for the second half with very strong defence. It is always great to see The Odd Bunch with smiles on their faces and supporting each other throughout the game. Back That Pass Up are continuing to prove they are going to give the top of the ladder a run for their money, securing the points this week 28 to 8. Josh was a standout and caught the umpire’s attention for best on.
sorry in advance v the hot shots
Both teams were coming into tonight’s game from a hard week last week, and with this being their first game against each other, it was always going to be a close one. Kieran represented Sorry in Advance and did them proud taking out the player of the match according to the umpires. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to get them across the line, and The Hots Shots took out their second win of the season, with 18 goals to 12.
pms v easy breezy
Set to be the game of the night, both teams coming into tonight’s game with similar stats for the season. Easy Breezy was missing some of their key players, but were able to organise some great fill ins, special mention to Nat who was able to take out Player of the Match while filling in. PMS were not going to go down without a fight and as the seconds ticked away, they took out their 4th win of the season, 19 goals to 18.
bittabanter v sunflowers
Sunflowers are showing that the addition of Wednesday nights to their roster was a good fit. It was always going to be a hard slog against the top of ladder holders in Bittabanter, but Sunflowers proved they are strong competitors, keeping their opposition to only an 8 goal lead at half time. Bittabanter with the addition of some fresh faces this week was able to put the foot down after half time and ultimately took the game out 32 to 14. Jess from Sunflowers was awarded the player of the match for their efforts, never quitting and doing all they could to try for a win.
droppin ballz v naomi's team
It is always a great game when these two rivals verse each other, and it was a challenge for both teams from the start. Droppin Balls missing their key shooter was able to call in some fill ins to tackle the always formidable Naomi’s Team coming in with a 5 game streak. Goal for goal for most of the game, Droppin Balls got a slight lead in the second half, and it proved too much for Naomi’s Team who ultimately went down 26 to 18. Alex continued to be a strong defender and was a key player ensuring the win for Droppin Balls and was awarded the player of the match for the second time this season.
harley's angels v bibs out for the boys
Bibs Out For The Boys came into this game off a strong win last week, defensively they looked strong from the outset. Harley’s Angels with the help of some fill ins got out to a good lead early, Nat for the second time in a night was awarded best on for her defensive skills, allowing Harley’s Angels to take the win 23 to 9. The tough run for Bibs Out should be easing in the coming weeks, watch out for the ladder climb from this team.
centrefold v mediocre
Mediocre came into tonight’s game on a 2 game winning streak and hopeful to see that continue, Centrefold on the other hand, had a hard game last week and were keen to keep their position on the ladder. Both teams put their bodies on the line, but the defensive effort of Phoebe really made the difference with Centrefold holding Mediocre to their lowest score this season, she was awarded Player of the Match for her efforts. Centrefold ultimately taking out the game, 20 goals to 5. Watch out next week to Mediocre’s opposition they will come out hungry for a win!
peasants fc v cazz fc
Peasants extended their unbeaten streak to five and notched double figures for a third-consecutive week, running out 11-5 winners of Cazz FC, who did well to notch five of their own in a high-scoring affair. The side are sitting comfortable in second place and look set for another deep finals run. Thomas was adjudged best on court by the referee to walk away with MOTM honours.

World’s Biggest returned fresh off the bye to produce another solid display and make it three on the trot. The former finalists continue to showcase their best after a mixed start to their campaign and looked primed and ready for another finals run, solidifying their spot in the top four. A 7-3 scoreline against a brave Chicken Tikka outfit got the four points with Tyler named player of the game.
generation xyz v chicano u-turn
Generation XYZ made it three wins in a row as they overcame an impressive Chicano U-Turn side 10-5. A free-flowing game provided plenty of highlights, with the ladder leaders pushed all the way by an in-form Chicano U-Turn outfit, who had come in with heavy back-to-back wins.

Newcomers McBallers had a tough debut game but bounced back in stunning fashion with a thrilling 5-3 win over Managed Anger.
