Tuesday Match Reports Round 9

Fatzio produced one of their best games of the season to register their highest tally of 9 goals to overrun Singer by five goals. The former produced a clinical display to find the back of the net with ease and will be hoping to carry this goalscoring form into future weeks. Liam M stoodout with a superb performance to be awarded MOTM honours.

 

ESRA'S BOYS V WHO CARES

Esra’s Boys produced one of their highest tallies of the season, overcoming Who Cares 12-5 in a goalfest. Both sides produced plenty of highlights and the former continue to emerge and make strides with impressive back-to-back wins. Ricky was awarded player of the game for a terrific outing.

CHAMPAGNE LIFESTYLE FC V AGING ELEPHANTS

Spectators gathered around the side of the courts to witness what many are anticipating could be the grand final preview, as two heavyweights in Champagne Lifestyle and Aging Elephants went to battle in an epic top-of-the-table clash. The spectacle did not disappoint, with the see-sawing contest going right down to the wire in an intense showdown of talent and skill, resulting in a thrilling share of the spoils in a 7-7 final scoreline. Cooper L impressed once again to earn MOTM honours in the showdown.               

BULLEN'S BOIS V POKERSTARS

Bullens Bois have endured a tough start to the season but look to have turned a corner with a powerful 10-1 win over Pokerstars. The side were back to their relentless best on both the offensive and defensive end to register the win, while Pokerstars will hope put a tough recent run behind them and return to winning form with some evenly-matched opponents on the horizon. Jayden S was awarded player of the game for Bullens for a typically brilliant display.

MULLY MACCAZ V WHERE IS MESSI?

Mully Maccaz and Where Is Messi have shown they have the ability and skill to match it with the top tier at their best, so it’s no surprise the two evenly-matched sides treated spectators to an absolute thriller with an epic 5-5 draw. Both sides have had an identical campaign to date with 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw and proved they have the ability to press for top four contention if results go their way. Adrian was awarded MOTM honours from the referee for a standout outing.

SNOOZING BEARS V MAGNESIUM FC

After a surprisingly heavy loss last week, the previously in-form Snoozing Bears responded in the best possible fashion, overcoming Magnesium in a thriller, 4-3. Magnesium had hit some good form themselves coming into the match with back-to-back victories, so it’s no surprise the two sides battled it out in an intense, close encounter. Snoozing solidify their position in third place, while Magnesium are hanging just outside the top four with many tipping them to feature inside it come season’s end. Sam was adjudged player of the game by the referee for his prolific role in the win.

TRASHPACK V BRIGHT YOUTH

 Trashpack continue to impress and stake claims as one of the most improved squads for the season, notching their third win in four weeks to propel themselves into the top four for the first time. An impressive 8-3 win over Bright Youth showcased the team’s prolific passing and goalscoring feats, while doing enough on the defensive end as well to earn the all important four points. Bec J, who is no stranger to the award, received best on court accolades for a solid display.

A fun derby between two Bright units did not disappoint at all, with spectators treated to a thrilling 4-3 result. It was Bright Youth who notched their second win of the season against their counterpart.  Xanda G’s exceptional efforts on the field earned him the player of the game award for yet another time this season. 

LAST WARNING FC V THAT BRIGHT FOOT

Last Warning have been chasing that elusive win and achieved it with a solid 4-1 win over That Bright Foot. There were a lot of spectators who tuned into the contest between two evenly-matched sides and they were treated to a close, intense battle with some strong goalkeeping on show as well. Last Warning had their finishing boots on to claim the four points and earn best on court honours Randy P.

Trashpack showcased their fighting spirit, coming back from a 2-0 deficit to pour on the goals and secure an impressive 5-2 win. The side took a while to get into their groove, but then managed five in succession. Hope S’ superb performance earned her the player of the game recognition for not a first time this season. Last Warning will be hoping to find that early form and sustain it in their next match.

TELETUBBIES V CBFC

Teletubbies extended their unbeaten streak to six with a solid 8-3 win over CBFC. The reigning premiers continue to showcase their best each week as they look to repeat the dose this season. CBFC battled gallantly against the tough opposition and did well to conjure three great goals of their own. Jayden S was once again a standout performer to be awarded player of the game accolades.

NUSANTARA V CALEB

Nusantara have been looking at returning to winning form after a couple of hard-fought weeks and did so with a stunning 8-4 victory over the ever-gallant Caleb. The latter had been building their own remarkable record this season, keeping all but one of their games within a single goal or less. But it was Nusantara who showcased their best on this occasion to claim the upset win. Seb was awarded best on court honours from the referee for an eye-catching outing.

JUST A SOCIAL GAME V TEKKERZ UNITED

Nusantara have been looking at returning to winning form after a couple of hard-fought weeks and did so with a stunning 8-4 victory over the ever-gallant Caleb. BOCA JNRS V NETWORK R.FC

Boca Jnrs’ incredible undefeated streak goes another week, with the ladder leaders coming out 8-0 winners over Network R FC, who have previously proven they’re no easy beats. On this occasion, the unbeaten outfit were too strong to register the victory and clean sheet and all but lock in their finals place. Isa claimed best on court honours for a terrific performance.
