Night Owls have had a challenging start to this season and tonight they are playing the undefeated MILF Magnets, so have a challenge ahead of them. The first quarter saw both teams come out strong and move the ball down the court well, MILF Magnets just able to convert a few more than Night Owls. The second quarter saw MILF Magnets put the foot down and work on building a strong lead against Night Owls. The second half saw Night Owls continue to play well together and move the ball well, their shooters also were able to feel more confident to score goals. MILF Magnets won the game, 8 to 46. Mera had a great game for MILF Magnets and was awarded Player of the Match.

Both out Mum teams have had challenging starts to this season and tonight one of them will get their first win. The first quarter saw both teams play well, and the score was fairly even. The second quarter Hilly Mums started to put the foot down and start to build a lead, getting out to 5 goals at the half time break. Mountain Mums continued to play well, however the pressure from Hilly Mums was making it harder for them to score. Hilly Mums extended their lead to 10 goals at the final change of ends. Mountain Mums did well to stop their push and not let them extend out their lead. Hilly Mums won their first game of the season, 30 to 20. Steph played well for Hilly Mums and was awarded Player of the Match.

Nets Top Model had a challenging week last week and they are up against Mixed Bag tonight who are on the back of a win last week. These to teams are very evenly matched and the first quarter showed this with Mixed Bag getting out to a minor lead at the change of ends. The second quarter saw Mixed bag extend this lead slightly out to 3 goals at the half time break. Both teams pushed hard in the third quarter eager to get the win tonight, the lead holding steady with Mixed Bag by 3 goals. The final quarter saw Nets Top Model start to run out of steam and Mixed Bag were able to make the most of it and won the game, 24 to 31. Bridget had a good run in Centre for Mixed Bag and was awarded Player of the Match.

Both teams are coming into tonight’s game with winning
streaks but only one can continue. The first quarter saw Material Gorls running
late for the game and Shots Fired came out firing, it was level at 5 all at the
first change of ends. The second quarter saw Shots Fired moving the ball well
and they were able to get out to a 2 goal lead against the undefeated Material
Gorls. The third quarter saw Material Gorls start to up their game and they
were able to get the score line back within 1 goal. However, Shots Fired were
not going to let their lead go that easily, they quickly extended it out to 4
goals in the final quarter, before Material Gorls got it back within a single
goal again, right before the siren Shots Fired were able to secure another goal
and win the game 24 to 22. Chelsea had a stellar game in defence for Shots
Fired and was awarded Player of the Match.
