GOALDIGGERS V GIRLYPOPS
Goaldiggers and Girlypops played out an absolute thriller with a final scoreline of 24-22. It was a free-flowing, high-scoring affair, with some sensational passing from the midcourt into the circle. In the end it was highly-touted Goaldiggers who ran out narrow victors to make it three from four wins for them. Nat B was awarded player of the game honours by the umpires for her standout performance.
SHOTS FIRED V NETS TOP MODEL
Shots Fired stamped their authority as the only unbeaten side to date, with an impressive 23-11 win over Nets Top Model. The formidable side were too strong defensively on this occasion to make it a stunning four from four victories to kickstart their campaign. Nets Top Model had been involved in some close scorelines coming into the match and also back-to-back wins, so will be hoping to return to form next week. Celeste C stoodout once again to earn player of the game accolades from the umpires.
MATERIAL GORLS V CHEESEBALLERS
Material Gorls continued on from last week, with another relentless performance at both ends of the court. The classy side shot the lights out once again and were equally as strong defensively to run out 28-4 winners over Cheeseballers, who will undoubtedly be better off for the challenge. Madison caught the eye of the umpires for a brave performance to be awarded player of the game.
