Both teams are on the back of challenging games last week and will like to get the win tonight. The first quarter saw Mixed Bag forge out a 4 goal lead after scoring 10 goals in the 9 minutes of play. The second quarter was strong for both teams; however, the momentum was still with Mixed Bag, stretching out their lead to 8 goals. Hilly Mums kept moving the ball well, however Mixed Bag continued to stretch their lead out to 9 goals, heading into the final quarter. Hilly Mums had a great last quarter and narrowed the lead back down to 7 goals, Mixed Bag won the game, 40 to 33.

Shots Fired had a good win last week and will be keen to bring that momentum into tonight’s game, however Night Owls are hungry for a win after a challenging start to the season. The first quarter was a show of strength by Shots Fired, quickly building a 9 goal lead. The second quarter they continued to push, and Night Owls struggled with the speed of the Shots Fired midcourt. Night Owls found their groove after the break and not only slowed the goals of Shots Fired, but they also started to score with more accuracy. Night Owls had their best quarter in the fourth, scoring 10 goals to Shots Fired’s 5. However, it wasn’t enough and Shots Fired won their second game in a row, 41 to 20. Viola for Shots Fired and Jo for Night Owls were awarded Player of the Match.

Both teams are coming into tonight’s game from strong wins the last couple of weeks, but only one streak can continue. Material Gorls continue to show that they are a force on the netball court and quickly built a 5 goal lead in the first quarter. The second quarter was a good quarter for Nets Top Model, scoring 9 goals for the quarter. Material Gorls continued to push in the third quarter and extended their lead to 14 goals heading into the final change of ends. The last quarter was even, both teams moved the ball around well and scored with high accuracy. Material Gorls won their fourth game in a row to remain undefeated for the season, 42 to 27. Jasmine from Material Gorls was awarded Player of the Match.
milf magnets v mountain mums
MILF Magnets are coming into tonight’s game undefeated, and Mountain Mums are searching for their first win after a challenging start to the season. It’s great to see Mountain Mums decked out tonight in team t-shirts! Both teams were a player down for the first quarter, Mountain Mums recruiting a fill in until their player arrived. MILF Magnets were able to build a 5 goal lead in the first quarter. The second quarter was fairly even until the last few minutes with MILF Magnets extending their lead out to 7 at the break. The second half MILF Magnets continued to show their strength, but Mountain Mums persevered and were able to score 11 goals in the second half. MILF Magnets won the game, 43 to 21 to continue their winning streak to 4 and be undefeated for the season. Raquel for MILF Magnets was awarded Player of the Match.
