SHOTS FIRED V MILF MAGNETS
Both teams are coming into this game from a win last week, it’s expected to be the game of the night, with MILF Magnets to put it to the Grand Final runner ups. The first quarter saw Shots Fired come out quickly and build an early lead, however MILF Magnets were able to step up the speed and level the scores, before scoring a goal with seconds to go before the change of ends. The second quarter saw the lead change multiple times, both teams hungry to get this win. MILF Magnets went into the break maintaining their 1 goal lead. It was long before MILF Magnets got out to a 4 goal lead in the third quarter, Shots Fired were able to get it back to a 3 goal gap heading into the final quarter, with the assistance of Bridget who was awarded Player of the Match for Shots Fired. MILF Magnets put the foot down in the final quarter and with the efforts of Kate W who was awarded player of the match they were able to win the game 24 to 29, now on a 2 game winning streak.
NETS TOP MODEL V MOUNTAIN MUMS
Both teams are coming into tonight from a challenging game last week and will be wanting to get their first win of the season. Nets Top Model quickly got out to a 7 goal lead in the first quarter before Mountain Mums found their rhythm at the beginning of the second quarter, Nets Top Model kept pushing and by the end of the third quarter were out to a 19 goal lead. Testament to the Mountain Mums for the pressure they were applying to every player with the ball throughout the game, Nets Top Model won their first game 39 to 14, Grace S for Nets Top Model and Amy for Mountain Mums were standouts and were awarded player of the match.
NIGHT OWLS V MIXED BAG
Night Owls had a very challenging week last week and will be keen to turn that around tonight. Mixed Bag came out strongly and etched out a 6 goal lead in the first quarter. Night Owls had a good second quarter and scored 4 goals. The second half saw Mixed Bag continued to push hard throughout the game, never letting the foot off the peddle. Bridget had a great game and was awarded player of the match. Mixed Bag ultimately won 10 to 41 for their second win of the season.
MATERIAL GORLS V HILLY MUMS
Material Gorls are coming into tonight’s game from a win last week and Hilly Mums are up for their second challenge of the season. Unfortunately, due to players running late Hilly Mums started the game with just 5 players against the reigning champs, Material Gorls quickly getting out to a 9 goal lead. The second quarter saw Hilly Mums with all 7 players, Material Gorls continued their increase in the game and pushed out their lead to 14. The second half saw a change up in positions for Material Gorls, they continued to push hard and with the assistance of Belle who was awarded player of the match they ultimately won the game 36 to 9. Kelly was awarded Player of the Match for Hilly Mums for her efforts.
