pancake pals v family feud
Pancake Pals are yet to be defeated this season and will be hoping to continue that tonight against Family Feud who have had some challenging weeks recently. The first quarter saw Pancake Pals show off the strength of their shooting end, as they started to build a lead. The second quarter was similar the defensive end for Pancake Pals kept the pressure on Family Feud, while with the help of a fill in, Pancake Pals continued to dominate in goals. Rylie did such a good job filling in shooting that she was named Player of the Match for Pancake Pals. The second half saw Family Feud find a spring in their step and they started to sink goals at a faster rate, even out scoring Pancake Pals in the final quarter, however it wasn’t enough to catch up and Pancake Pals notched up their 9th win of the Season, 35 to 9.
brogres v the opposition
Both teams are coming into this game from challenging games last week and will be keen to turn it around tonight. This is set to be the game of the night with both of these teams evenly matched. The first quarter saw both teams move the ball around well and The Opposition were able to get 2 goals up at the break as they scored after rebounding the ball. The second quarter was similar to the first, The Opposition just slightly extending their lead out to 4 goals at the half time break, but Brogres was not going down without a fight, their GD having a fantastic intercept in the final minute of the half. The third quarter reapeated the first two, The Opposition scoring 2 more goals than Brogres, to extend their lead out to 6 goals heading into the final quarter. The last nine minutes is where it really heated up, Brogres came out strong and were eating away at the lead The Opposition had built, but time was not on their side and The Opposition ultimately won the game, 22 to 23. Olivia had a great game for The Opposition and was named Player of the Match.
don't step v underachievers
Don’t Step are currently on a winning streak and are up against Underachievers who have had some challenging weeks lately, this will be one to watch. The first quarter was evenly matched with both teams moving the ball around well. Underachievers just getting out to a minor lead at the end of the quarter. The second quarter had Underachievers pushing hard to increase their lead out to 7 goals at the half time break. They continued their dominance on the game in the third quarter, however, Don’t Step never gave up in their push in the game, the final quarter saw them fight back strong, Jack for Don’t Step was named Player of the Match for his efforts in the game. Don’t Step outscored Underachievers in the final quarter, but it wasn’t enough to take the win, Underachievers getting their 5th win of the season, 21 to 27.
spaghetti n netballs v twisted knee
Spaghetti n Netballs had a challenging week last week and are up against Twisted Knee this week who have had a challenging start to the season but continue to improve week on week. The first quarter saw Spaghetti n Netballs come out strong and start to build a lead against Twisted Knee, the second quarter saw both teams move the ball around well, however Spaghetti n Netballs continued to increase their lead. The third quarter was the best for Twisted Knee who started to put the goals away with more ease. Anouk had a fantastic game for Spaghetti n Netballs and was named Player of the Match. Spaghetti n Netballs won the game, 35 to 9, to secure their 4th win of the season.
phat phlamingos v hot shots
Both teams had good wins last week and will be hoping to extend it to two wins tonight. The first half saw both teams moving the ball well, Phat Phlamingos just finding it easier to convert their plays into goals. Leighton was having a fantastic game and was selected as Player of the Match for Hot Shots. The third quarter saw Phat Phlamingos extend their lead out to 12 goals heading into the final quarter. It was fairly even in the final quarter with Hot Shots continuing to push hard despite the deficit. Phat Phlamingos won the game, 22 to 9, to secure their 6th win of the season.
sockballers v setballers
Sockballers are coming into the game on the back of only their second loss of the season, they are up against Setballers who secured their 4th win of the season last week. Both teams are quiet evenly matched, and the scores reflected that for the majority of the game. Both teams moved the ball around well and with strong shooting Sockballers were able to get a lead on Setballers. Liv had a great game in defence for Sockballers and was named Player of the match for her team, Sam also had a great game for Setballers and was also named Player of the match. Sockballers took the win, 21 to 17 to secure their 7th win of the season.
