LETHAL WEAPONS V THE OPPOSITION

Lethal Weapons and The Opposition went head-to-head in a great battle, keeping spectators on
their feet for the whole game. Lethal Weapons moved the jigsaw pieces around and unfortunately just fell short with this game plan, The Opposition jump ahead in the final minutes of the game to take out the win by 3 goals. 13
to 16 in The Oppositions favour. Ryan from The Opposition caught the attention of the umpires again to take out the best on for this match.

 

pANCAKE pALS V FAMILY FEUD

Pancake Pals and Family Feud battled it out with a top of the ladder challenge. Both teams gave it their all, Pancake pals found a second wind at half time and really put the foot down, unfortunately family feud couldn’t quite keep up. Pancake pals taking it out with 34 to 15. Looking forward to seeing what both these finals contenders can bring in the coming weeks. Cam has returned from injury with a vengeance scoring himself best on by the umpires.

dIESEL dOMINATORS V D HUSLERZ

Tipped to be the game of the night and it did not disappoint, D Huslerz had a great challenge on their
hands this week against the new rivals in Diesel Dominators. By a narrow margin, Diesel Dominators was able to notch up their first win of the season 25 to 20, this was D Huslerz first loss in 4 games. We expect them to start a new streak again soon! Two weeks in a row Paige H has impressed the umpires and taken out player of the game for Diesel Dominators.

BEC MACS V PBG

Bec Macs have returned this season and continue to show that the time away from the court has not been a hinderance for them, really putting PBG to the test this week. Even with Bec Macs pressure, Xavier L from PBG for the 5 th consecutive week has shone on court with his performance and been named player of the game, can anyone beat his performance? In saying that, he is but one man and he couldn’t secure the win for his team, Bec Macs taking it home 26 to 17.

HANGXIETY V TWISTED KNEE

Hangxiety with a late forfeit to Twisted Knee. 0 to 20.

PEENERS V SOCKBALLERS

Peeners had a challenge on their hands this week for the 4 points against the ever-faithful Sockballers. With strong defence Sockballers were able to continue their winning streak, noticing up the 5th win in a row. Peeners not to be overlooked are improving week on week and will be tough challengers. Watch this space!! Brooke B from Sockballers stood out of the crowd and was awarded player of the game by the umpires.

BROGRES V PHAT PHLAMINGOS

Brogres coming off a strong win last week were in for a challenge against the top of the ladder Phat Phlamingos who have only conceded one game all season. Brogres were strong all the way down the court, but were out shot by the pink force of the Phlamingos. Congrats to Danny from Brogres for being a standout and doing all they could to try and get the win, it didn’t go unnoticed by the umpires who named them best on.
