It was Sockballers on this occasion who returned to the winning list following a string of close results in the past few weeks. Both teams have shown glimpses of their best and currently sit in mid-table, capable of making a run into the top four. Monica B was adjudged best on court by the umpires for an eye-catching outing.

Lethal Weapons produced one of their finest performances for the season, impressing in a 28-9 win against debutants Peeners. The goals were flowing for Lethal Weapons who have had a mixed start to their campaign. They’ll be hoping this strong performance at both ends of the court carries on into next week. New outfit Peeners will be better off for the challenge after making their exciting start into the comp. Andrea as given player of the game accolades for a superb match.
pancake pals v the opposition
Pancake Pals moved into 2nd place on the ladder with an impressive 32-21 over The Opposition. A free-flowing, highly-skilled game from both sides, who had little issue moving the ball around the court and finding the goals. Pancake Pal’s hot start to the season continues, while The Opposition have proven they can match it with the best as they continue to find their feet since their return. Mel L was awarded player of the game for another tireless performance.
PBG V brogres
PBG and Brogres both showcased some of their best netball for the season with an enthralling contest ending 20-29. It was Brogres who made it back-to-back wins with an impressive end goal tally. PBG have fought gallantly in all their contests to date and will be hoping for a turn of fortune in their contest next week. Xavier L was adjudged best on court by the umpires for a prolific outing.

Phat Phlamingos extended their unbeaten run with another typically relentless performance, claiming a 23-7 victory over Hangxiety. The Phlamingos stocks continue to rise as they solidify their stance as the top contender to date. Hangxiety have shown their ability to work the ball around the court with pace and find the goals in past games so will be looking to bounce back following this challenge.
