The Opposition are coming into tonight’s game hoping to secure their first win of the season and Family Feud will be eager to get back on a winning streak again. The first quarter had Family Feud out strong and quickly with a 2 goal lead at the change. The second quarter saw The Opposition fight back strong and not just recover from the 2 goal deficit but etch out their own 2 goal lead. The momentum continued for The Opposition in the third quarter, and they stretched out their lead to 8 goals heading into the final quarter of the game. The final both teams scored 3 goals each. Naveen was a standout on the court and was awarded Player of the Match to go with the win for The Opposition, 24 to 16.
phat phlamingos v pancake pals
Phat Phlamingos are coming into tonight’s game off the back of a good win last week, but they will have a challenge on their hands tonight, up against the undefeated Pancake Pals. The first quarter was even by both teams and saw them both moving the ball around well. The second quarter had Pancake Pals shooting the ball well and defending the attempts by the Phat Phlamingos shooting end. Phat Phlamingos continued to push hard in the second quarter, but the height of the Pancake Pals proved too much. Brooke was a standout for Pancake Pals and was awarded Player of the Match. Pancake Pals also won the game, 18 to 29. Extending their winning streak to 4.
twisted knee v sockballers
Twisted Knee will be keen to secure their first win tonight and Sockballers will be wanting to extend out their winning streak. The first quarter saw Sockballers come out strongly and build a 4 goal lead. The second quarter Twisted Knee shooters increased their accuracy and were able to put away 3 goals. Sockballers continued to push in the third quarter scoring 10 of the 13 goals for the quarter and extending their lead to 18 goals. Sockballers moved positions around throughout the game to find what suits them best and Josh was a standout in all the positions he played, he was awarded Player of the Match. Sockballers took the win, 12 to 34, and extended their winning streak to 3 games.
underachievers v spaghetti n netballs
Underachievers are coming into tonight off the back of a challenging game last week and Spaghetti N Netballs are on a high from a good win last week. The first quarter was even by both teams and saw them both passing and playing well, Underachievers got a small lead of 2 at the first change of ends. Spaghetti N Netballs fought back in the second quarter and overcame the lead to build their own 2 goal lead before the half time break. Not to go down without a fight, Underachievers pushed hard in the third quarter and took back the lead again. Nete was a standout for Underachievers and was awarded Player of the Match for her efforts. The last quarter was even by both teams with Underachievers just holding on to their 2 goal lead to take the win, 18 to 16. The second win for the season.
hot shots v brogres
Hot Shots are on the back of a 2 game winning streak and Brogres had a challenging week last week and will be eager to turn it around tonight. The first quarter was slow going by both teams as they got the feel for their opponents, Brogres got out to an early 2 goal lead. The second quarter saw Hot Shots fight back and both teams ended the quarter on 6 goals each. Brogres had momentum after the break and was able to notch out a 3 goal lead going into the final quarter. James had a great game for Hot Shots and was awarded Player of the Match. Brogres held on to their 3 goal lead to win the game, 16 to 19.
don't step v setballers
Don’t Step are coming into tonight’s game from a challenging
couple of weeks and Setballers had a good win last week and will be hoping to
see that continue. The first quarter had Setballers out quickly to a 5 goal
lead. The second quarter was stronger for Don’t Step but Setballers were able
to hold on to their lead at the break. The third quarter was fairly even by
both teams with Setballers just extending their lead out slightly to 6. Jack
was a standout on court for Don’t Step and was awarded Player of the Match.
Setballers won their second game, 14 to 26.
