family feud v bec macs
Family Feud are coming into this game from a challenging game last week, Bec Macs on the other hand had a good win last week and will be looking to continue that momentum this week. The first quarter was very close with both teams scoring goals easily, Bec Macs were able to get a great intercept and score off it to go into the second quarter with a 2 goal lead. The second quarter was a ripper by Family Feud, the defensive efforts continued to push Bec Macs harder than they had for most of the season, and it was a thriller to watch. The half time break unfortunately favoured Bec Macs and killed the momentum that Family Feud had built. Bec Macs switched up some positions and stepped it up a gear to extend out their lead to 12 going into the final quarter. Tom has proven for most of the season that he is a stellar player for Family Feud and again tonight was awarded player of the match, a small consolation for Family Feud who were defeated by Bec Macs, 19 to 37.
phat phlamingos v sockballers
Both teams as finals contenders, Sockballers will be keen to win this game to guarantee them a place for finals. The first quarter was even by both teams, with a few jitters here and there it slowly calmed down into a great game, the second quarter finally saw a team make a small lead, Sockballers up by 2 into the break. Phat Phlamingos came out strong in the third quarter to bring the scores back even going into the last quarter. Lead changes continued for a while before Phat Phlamingos showed why they have been a tough team to beat all season and they stretched away to ultimately win by 5 goals. Cohen was a standout for Sockballers and was awarded player of the match.

D Huslerz had a hard game last week against the top of the ladder and Peeners are coming into this game off the back of a strong win last week. The first quarter was a low scoring quarter with the defence for both teams playing well straight away. The second quarter saw D Huslerz show why they are going to be finals contenders this season, they put the foot down and Peeners struggled to match the speed that they brought to the court. The break reenergised Peeners and they came out with strong shooting, D Huslerz saw the challenge and stepped it up to go into the final quarter with a 15 goal lead. Bridget was stellar for D Huslerz and earnt player of the match status. D Huslerz made up for their loss last week to try and keep their finals hopes alive and won 28 to 7.
