rat pack 4-4 the pele theater
Player of the Game: Ash (The Pele Theater)
A thrilling contest that finished level at 4–4 between Rat Pack and The Pele Theater. Both teams were missing a few of their regular players, with some fresh faces stepping in and putting on a great show.
Pele opened the scoring with a beautifully placed strike from a tight angle near the corner line, a brilliant finish that set the tone early. It took a little while for both sides to find their rhythm, but once they did, the game opened right up. Rat Pack hit back shortly after, and from then on it was back and forth action all the way through.
Neither side could find the winner in the final minutes, and the draw was a fitting result for two evenly matched teams. Ash from Pele was awarded Player of the Game for his solid all round performance and contribution throughout the match.
leshter city 8-4 infection fc
Player of the Game: Lachie (Leshter City)
Leshter City continued their strong form with an 8–4 win over a spirited Infection FC. Infection struck first with a moment of class, faking out the defender, cutting inside, and finishing neatly into the bottom left corner to take the early lead.
It didn’t take long for Leshter to respond. A perfectly placed corner from Adam found Lachie, who controlled beautifully before toe-poking it into the bottom right to level the score. From there, Leshter found their rhythm, moving the ball quickly and taking full advantage of every opportunity in front of goal.
Despite the result, Infection played some of their best futsal yet, defending strongly, linking up well, and showing great chemistry across the court. Leshter were simply clinical on the night, proving once again why they’re such a tough side to beat.
Lachie’s composure, work rate, and finishing touch earned him a welldeserved Player of the Game award.
